A Safe Place, Inc. is a private, non-profit agency that has been serving
Nantucket for over 20 years. Our Mission is to work to eliminate domestic

pre-school through grade eight. Within a warm and nurturing school community, our
program encourages academic excellence, respects the pace of childhood, and
seeks to instill in our students curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love
of learning. In creating strong partnerships between school and family, we
foster kindness, self-confidence, self-knowledge, and social responsibility.
